Thank You

I am 27 years old and have been a meth, heroin, and coke addict for 12 years. RH saved my life I owe a lot of what I have today to the staff. I can't imagine where I would be without the support I got from Eric and the staff. It is a family where change really happens.

Incredible place to work for! Being in recovery myself, I am very particular regarding which programs I will lend my skills and abilities to. Becoming at part of The Raleigh House team has been an absolutely joy-filled experience. Highly qualified and educated clinical staff with 10+ years of experience each AND leadership that fosters team cohesion and individual empowerment and pride. I am absolutely honored and blessed to be here. Jennifer Vote, Admissions Coordinator

Hope for the hopeless

Raleigh house of hope has been such an integral part of my recovery. I have been addicted to heroine, booze, crack, cocaine, and meth for most of my life, beginning as a way to cope with childhood and later, adult, traumas. I went from a promising graduate student to a homeless junkie as a result of my using, and thought that this would be who I was until I was finally granted some peace in death. I had no hope of ever living a happy, productive life. I had truly hit my bottom. I was so desperate for a change, I jumped on the opportunity to go to rehab when it was offered by my parents, after my boyfriend pleaded with them to help me. The gift of recovery that was given to me that day is the best present I have ever gotten. The Raleigh house of hope has given me a safe arena to get clean in, and to figure out who I am, heal from the traumas of my past, and grow into the person I was truly meant to be. They loved me until I could love myself, and then continued to nurture my growth and self-discovery. The Raleigh house was a god-send, and I owe my recovery to them. The community of clients, therapists, and staff at the Raleigh house are all here to welcome any addict or alcoholic who is ready to experience a true spiritual experience, a life better than we could have even imagined. And when life isn't all rainbows and roses, they are there to help you to learn to walk through your suffering to reach the other side. What an amazing journey this has been!!!!!! Raleigh house of hope- thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!!!

When I needed help and the wor...

When I needed help and the world seemed to have turned its back on me there was but a thin ray of light shinning through the darkness. I followed that light and when it started to spread in to my soul I found a love that has overcome my once powerful addiction. I would never have imagined that such a place exsisted or that people cared as much for me as the people at the Raleigh House. But I have a new family now, I am at peace in my heart, and I am confident and determined to take on life again (even though my life is none of my business). I want to change and grow in ways I never imagined and pay it forward to as many "hopeless" addicts as I can. The Raleigh House has become a home to me and the staff and clients are my new family. Love you guys!!!!

I came to RHOH as an addict of opiates for two years or so. I wanted badly to quit for the last 6 month because my addiction was controlling every aspect of my life and I could control myself no longer. I was skeptical of the program at first but the staff and therapists are freaking amazing!!! I have gained "myself" back and have my confidence back. AS an opiate user I was worried about the physical withdrawals because I couldn't beat them for one day without using another drug. The staff sets you up with amino acid supplements and I kicked it in only 3 or 4 days and then my personality did a full 360 and I LOVE MYSELF and MY LIFE AGAIN!!! I OWE EVERYTHING TO MY BROTHER AND RHOH!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
