As anyone who has an elderly family member, it can be tough trying to decide whether they are fit to live alone at home, move in with family, or move to an assisted living facility.
A family member of ours living in Denver with parkinson's and anxiety who was living at home alone, was taken here for rehabilitation when she had fallen. During her time in Gardens on Quail's nursing home she was able to recover, but decided to stay. She, as well as our family, decided that it was a safer and better lifestyle to continue living under the care of Gardens on Quail's nurses. Since moving in, her anxiety has been much less severe, and she has made many new friends. Not to mention that it is a beautiful place to call home. Many of our family members are living in Denver, so it makes for an easy drive being located just outside the city in Arvada.

Great group of Nurses/CNA's, but terribly hindered by the poor management and lack of training on systems. This results in inconsistent care as patient status/information does not seem to pass from one shift to the next. Their systems or lack of training on systems seems to be responsible for this issue.
You Must Advocate for you family member and confirm all medication changes as their systems/training on systems (again) do not seem to provide employees with ability to get accurate medicine details.
Absolutely shocked by the management team's excuses and lack of taking responsibility. Was actually told by facility director that is was our responsibility to take a walker to offsite appointments that they transported our family member to.
