General Info
At your first visit, you will be given a tour of our facility and have the opportunity to meet Dr. Scott Finlay to discuss your personal dental health concerns and goals. We believe that quality dental care begins with a complete exam utilizing the latest technology and science proven today. We may utilize digital photography, computer assisted occlussal force evaluation and digital radiographs. We may also use other technology, including cosmetic imaging, which can give you a glimpse of the possibilities for your smile. In some situations, we may create diagnostic models to study and complete an occlussal analysis and diagnostic wax up, which will provide a simulation of our anticipated results. We want your visits to be as comfortable and relaxing as possible. The reception area has a fireplace and todays newspaper and a beverage station with flavored coffees, teas or even hot chocolate. Bring your favorite music, or listen to one of our iPods to relax during your treatment. At the foot of each dental chair is a 32 LCD screen with access to all your favorite channels. Sedation may also be available for some of your treatments. If you have disliked the experience of ever having an impression taken in the dental office, you will appreciate the latest technology that Dr. Finlay has invested in for the comfort of his patients. Digitally scanned impressions eliminate the need for many of the gooey, distasteful impressions that are often needed for indirect dental restorations, dentures or orthodontics. We will also set aside time so you can ask specific questions to address any concerns you may have about a possible treatment or procedure. If you want to do a little research, check out our procedure descriptions on teeth whitening, dental crowns and porcelain veneers. Before any treatment is initiated, a complete treatment outline is customized, detailing what treatment is involved, how long it will take, how much the investment will be, and most importantly, what are the expectations of results. We promise you will know more about yourself and your treatment needs than ever before.
