Founded in 1965, Wesmar Marine Electronics is one of the leading manufacturers of marine sonar systems for commercial fishing and defense applications in the United Sates. Located in Woodinville, Wash., it offers an array of products, such as hull mounted sonar, trawl sonar, APU (auxiliary propulsion unit), hydraulics, thrusters, stabilizers, defense and hoist systems. The firm possesses an 82,000-square-foot facility near Seattle, comprising of an engineering design lab, prototype and an automated manufacturing department. Wesmar Marine Electronics operates through its Sonar, Mechanical and Defense Systems Division.
