I went to this place for the first time today. I ordered fish and chips. The person taking my order placed a cup on the counter and I paid and added a $3.00 tip. When I was chatting with the other people with me they said I was overcharged. I went to the counter and asked why my bill was so high. I was told that it was because I ordered a drink. I told him that I did not order a drink and I assumed that the drink came with the meal. All he said was that IT DIDN'T. When I went to leave I went back up to the counter and told him that I have lived here for 40 years and had never been treated like this at any restaurant ever. He made it look like it was my fault because he was trying to beat out of 2 bucks. Come to find out the jerk was the owner. Never again will I go to this place that treats their customers like that. I would rate this place a zero if I could!

Had the brautwerst & onion rings. Brat was very good with soft roll and grilled onions and sourkraut. No mustard in a bottle? Packets only. Onion rings tasted like fish and were so greasy that ketchup didnt stick to them. Not to mention the puddle of grease in the bottom of the serving boat. Maybe a drain on a paper towel would be in order? My wife had the fish & chips special. She didnt like it, i thought it was very good. The reason for the two stars is the grease, lack of mustard, 80+ degree ketchup, the confusion in the kitchen which bumped our order behind others who ordered after us. Definately has potential. I will try again hoping they get the bugs worked out before taking them off my goto list. As for price, it only works if the quality goes up.

The decor was amazing! My boyfriend and I enjoyed the cool, old fashion trucks and signs. However, the food was on the plain side which is not bad. But my bun was way bigger than my patty, easy thing to fix, and the meat was not all the way cooked through, which is also an easy thing to fix. Not only that, the fries were extremely soggy. And the most upsetting part about the junk yard grill is that they have a bee problem next to the fountain machine. The junk yard grill is a warehouse type building with lots of open space for the weather to affect their restaurant. So bugs and insects may affect your experience there. The place is great for kids and I like how fresh the food is. Might go back again in a few months to see if they have improved. The junk yard grill is starting out okay but have room for improvement. I would really like to see this place get a lot of business.

Unfortunately... Not a great experience. Fourth day open, we were really excited to come try it, waited 40 minutes to find out that our order was lost and it was not even busy.

I've not eaten there yet, but will In the next few weeks as I live very close and pass this former fruit stand every day. I will write a review when I do eat there, but disregard these first two reviews. The first one is obviously written by the owner to get his new business going, and the second by some guy that has a personal grudge against the owner, probably the former fruit stand owner. Why else would they both be written on the same exact opening day with completely opposite reviews? (of course, maybe they do actually s*ck, and it's only the owners first review that is bunk). I always wait about 1 month to check out a new place so they can get everything worked out. This didn't work for Hubb's pizza down the street though. They were horrible when they opened, and they're horrible now. Tsk.

I loved the place and decor ! I am also hoping that the longer this place is operating the more fine tune it will become. The burger was somewhat bland, and I didn't care for all the extra cost , the fries , the sauses , the drinks . No combos dishes were available . I will try this place again , just to be fair to the owner , once he settles in . By the way Welcome to Arlington !

I live VERY close and was VERY impressed with the food! The service is comfortable. Family atmosphere. Still getting their groove. My kids love the food and are super picky! I will be a frequent patron. Good luck and check it out if you haven't!:-)

I had been looking forward to the opening of nuttys junkyard grill for a couple months since I live only a couple blocks away..when I finally saw the opening sign I was so excited to go in and try it out..I have to say I was impressed with the atmosphere and prices..very reasonable. .however I have to be honest when it comes to overall taste and quality of the food..I was extremely disappointed. .I can honestly say I don't remember a time ever eating worse food..I ordered fish and chips which I was excited for, but the fish was not cooked before it was deepfried and was then burnt in the deep fryer...same goes for the onion rings and fries.. burnt... I was so upset with my experience I don't think I would ever be able to bring myself to try it again....u know its bad when you spend $25 for dinner and leave and end up going somewhere else to finally get to eat your food..

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE:

Bought 2 bags of Red Delious Apples from the young owner of this Produce Stand. They were Mealy and soft. I went to the stand today to tell the owner. When my husband and I got there a woman was in front of us returning oranges that were not fresh. The owner looked at me and said this is the first time I have had complaints about produce and I have 2 in a row. Then he told me the day I bought the apple he had told me they were soft. NO HE DIDN'T HE LIED.... I'm 59 and am old enough to speak up for myself. I said my husband was with me and you never told us they were soft. I told him they were not edible and that I wanted to wait until he didn't have any customers so he would not be embarrased. He said your Husband would lie for you and stick up for you. He said why would I lie I don't get off on lieing. I told him I didn't want to have him replace the apples and I had never had a store owner talk to me like that. I told him I would shop at his Dad' Place in Everett the Triangle Produce Stand but never at his. No wonder his place is empty half of the time. He had me almost in tears I was so upset that he talked to me that way.
