Since its establishment in 1973, Sport & Health Club has grown to be one of largest health club families with nearly 30 locations in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. The clubs feature advanced fitness equipment with cardiovascular conditioning, strength training and free weight equipment. There also are energizing group exercise classes for all levels from Pilates and yoga to step, high- and low-impact workouts and kickboxing. Many of the clubs feature tennis, racquetball, squash, basketball and swimming. There is also a Kidz Klub for children to enjoy while their parents are working out. The children's programs are for all ages and include a nursery, climbing mazes, dance, camps and a variety of fitness and junior programs. The clubs Serenity Day Spas offer therapeutic massage, body treatments, nail and skin care, and hair styling and design. Sport & Health Club has a location in Arlington, Va.
