Chicora Medical Center is a family owned and operated health care facility that provides various health care services to the senior citizens. It is a Medicare-certified nursing facility and provides various services, such as skilled and intermediate nursing, long-term, personal care and adult day and respite care services. Its amenities include the Vista Royale personal care unit and the specialty care hospice unit. The rehabilitation services offered by the center include physical, speech, occupational and respiratory therapies. The center also offers a wide range of recreational and social activities, including card games, bingo and outings. In addition the center provides dietitians, meals services, dining rooms and a bakery. It is a part of the Armstrong Retirement Village.
