It also has a real estate services division that is responsible for real estate transactions for various city departments. Its transactions include acquisition of property rights for street, water and sewer projects, libraries, parks, fire and police facilities, airport expansion, water towers and other special use sites. The department handles additionally responds to problems related to potholes, sidewalk problems, traffic signal problems, damaged, hazardous road conditions and missing street signs.
