General Info

Dr. Ann-Marie O’Connor received her Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Fairfield University, cum laude in 1996. She then received her DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, cum laude in 2001. Dr. O’Connor completed her residency training in Periodontology and received her Masters of Medical Science in Oral Biology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Her thesis work at the Forsyth Institute explored the effect of surgical treatment on the composition of periodontal microbiota in the oral cavity. During 2002 Dr. O’Connor attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she studied Biomaterials, Tissue Engineering in Medical Devices and Artificial Organs. Her focus was on the application of biomaterials and tissue engineering using an integrated biological, engineering, academic and corporate approach. Dr. O’Connor is trained in all aspects of periodontics, including dental implants. Dr. O’Connor is proficient with 3i, Branemark, and ITI implant systems. Dr. O’Connor is an active member of American Association of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society and the Harvard Odontological Society. Dr. O’Connor lives in Boston, MA.
