Miner School operates under the Northwest Suburban Special Education Organization and is located in Arlington Heights, Ill. The school provides education to students in grades kindergarten through 12. Its staffs include special education teachers, social workers, bilingual assistants, nurses, and occupational and speech therapists. The school s special activities include dance, prom, drama club, educational trips, basketball, soccer, cheerleading, and intramural sports. Miner School provides classes in industrial technology, agriculture, computer science, social studies, mathematics, business education, economics, and English and language arts. Additionally, the school offers special education and job shadowing programs for students. Miner School also offers instruction in daily living skills and provides counseling services.
