What began as a logging town in 1892 has evolved into an old-fashioned summer resort. Watervale features fourteen cottages, suites of rooms and the historic Inn where breakfast and dinner are served daily. Watervale is situated on two lakes with over a mile of private shoreline on both Lake Michigan and Lower Herring Lake. Ammenities include tennis courts, sand and beach volleyball, basketball court, shuffleboard and a playground. Watervale is also located in between two Conservancy properties that feature miles of hiking and biking trails.
