North Columbia Elementary School is located in Appling, Ga., and is operated by Columbia County Schools. It offers academic classes to students in prekindergarten through grade five in various subjects, including reading, writing, spelling and vocabulary, English, math, science, social studies, language arts and special education. The school has a media center that has a collection of more than 10,000 books and offers online encyclopedias, databases, facts and statistics, and dictionaries and thesaurus to its students for additional resources.
