This guy knows how to sharpen chainsaw chains. I took chains to be sharpened to a Co-Op in Greenville, a hardware store on Richmond Street and Calumet Street, a service center on North Richmond Street, a service center in Kimberly and no one does the kind of job that Scotts Sharpening Service does. My chains come back from the other places dull, burnt cutters, uneven cutter lengths, depth gauges not set or not set properly. I have been taking my chains to Scotts for about a year now and I have never had a problem. The chains cut like they are new. Service turnaround time is excellent; 1 or 2 days. I highly recommend; I just wish I had found out about this sharpening service earlier.
Been using Scott's Sharpening Service, LLC. for a couple of months now. A co-worker of mine read a review on Angie's List about his sharpening service here in the Fox Valley. A co-worker of mine read about Scott's Sharpening Service on Angie's List. He sharpened my lawn mower blade and my yard shears for me. They are both like new again!! I would not hesitate at all to recommend anyone to Scott's and will be back for anything and everything else tht nees sharpening!!

Scott operates his blade and tool sharpening service from his very orderly workshop behind his home. The service, though, speaks for itself. This guy knows his trade: kitchen knives, lawnmower blades (cleaned and balanced), loppers, scissors, Swiss army knives, and hedge trimmers; all this at a very fair price. Not only does this dude know sharp knives and tools, he is also quite a friendly, congenial individual.
If you need excellent, inexpensive, and professional knife and tool sharpening with honest customer service, be sure to give this place your business.
