I will meet with you, explain all upcoming procedures, answer all of your questions and then counsel you to put yourself into the best possible light. I will humanize you to the DA and judge [and jury if necessary] and help them to stop looking at you like a number and a criminal. I will help you put your best foot forward before the judge and district attorney based on my proven experience. I know what they want and expect. I will then begin to negotiate your best offer with the District Attorney, putting forward your concerns, suggestions and relay your story and desired outcome in a manner most likely to be persuasive to them. I also will obtain and review all of the states potential evidence [and the documented police reports] that would be used against you at trial and consult with you regarding your best course of defense in the matter. I will then frankly and honestly asses your case to help you determine whether or not you would likely be successful at a jury trial and I explain why to you. If you want a trial, I convert your case from a flat rate structure to a typical retainer/hourly arrangement and we go forward with a trial.
