Established in 1971, People's Food-Co-op is a natural food store and center of The Ann Arbor community. The store provides food items for special dietary needs and healthy eating, including vegetarian, vegan, fruit juices, and wheat and dairy items. It offers grocery items, household supplies, coffee and prepared food items. The grocery department supplies pastas, condiments, and frozen and canned food items. Its snacks collection includes chips, cookies and candies. The store produces health and beauty care products, such as vitamins, homeopathic remedies, flower essences, herbal capsules, tinctures, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, tissues, paper towels, bleach-free cleaners and soaps.
