Established in 1964, Anderson Adult Education Center offers a variety of academic programs for students age s 17 and above. Its educational curriculum includes science, English, math, social studies, computer technology and history. The center additionally provides classes in reading, writing, speech and language arts. It also offers adult basic education, general education development, high school diploma and English Language Learner programs. In addition, the center conducts community education classes in art, dance and finance . It is a part of Anderson School District Five, which governs various elementary, middle and high schools. Anderson Adult Education Center is located in Anderson, S.C.
