This faciltiy euthanized 30 animals in January-unscheduled and now more than 28 dogs and no count on the cats- some not even scheduled (time was not up) and one that had been claimed by a rescue. Nick the Rot mix was to be picked up and before the rescue could get there he was one on the list. As was Jon Boy a 7 y/o retired hunting beagle,

His hunting companion 7 y/o female Tiny Girl made it out the night before as did 4 other dogs and 4 cats.

No list was kept of who stayed and who went. The list is just from the memory of the people who dontated their time at the shelter. Please read the Anderson Herald Bulletin dated March 27, 2008. This massacre happened early Wednesday March 26th, Government authorities were notified one week prior in a 15 page letter that went unanswered.
