Formed in 1973, Tyonek Native Corporation is into business ventures, such as 8a contracting for the government, construction and tourism. Based in Anchorage, Alaska, the association came into being under Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) and is federally recognized. It has capabilities in the areas of agile manufacturing, prototype fabrication, engineering, aviation maintenance, information technology, construction and tourism. Tyonek Native Corporation is entitled to receive title to the surface estate of 193,515 acres and all selections go through the reviews of the State of Alaska Bureau of Land Management.
