Founded in 1980, Anchorage Neighborhood Housing Services is a nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing options and rehabilitation services. It provides a full array of housing resources, including financial fitness and homeownership counseling, home purchase and rehabilitation loans and grants, and specialized services aimed at seniors and people who experience disabilities. Anchorage Neighborhood Housing Services also offers individualized prepurchase and post-purchase counseling classes to assure homeownership.
