Gnesis its just great barber shop there is My Man Jay with 18 years in the hair business he cuts great and very profesional if u New on town this is the place for a hair cut ( fades,tapers,desings and etc.)

This worst barber shop in Anchorage in my opinion!!! The customer service is terrible, and the barber(s) seem to be so experienced that they dont LISTEN to the patrons request. The floor is covered with hair, and as one client leaves the other is sat-down without ANY CONCERN FOR SANITATION: combs, scissors, brushes or other cutting implements previously used. Barbers seem to be cocky, arrogant, and unable to follow simple barbering request. It is my opinion, the barber who cut my hair has had no formal training and if so he has not retained any of what he was taught.

My sincere opinion to other(s) considering a visit to Genesis for a haircut beware! Check, Check and Recheck on your hair/cut before, during, and after your visit.

Best barbers in the state. The barbers in this shop are recruited from Fl, NY, PR & Chicago bringing the hottest styles and skills needed to satisfy any customer w. any hair type. My man Yoba does some custom lines/ styles for you hair too. Man got some skills. All barbers are great. They charge $20 but cut your hair perfect all the time. I try to tip em' about $10 since they take they're time to satify they're customers.
