Located in Anchorage, Alaska, Benny Benson Secondary School is a learning center that provides academic instruction to more than 260 students in grades 7 through 12. It offers various student activities, such as career counseling, reading recovery, library and enrichment program. Benny Benson Secondary School organizes a variety of sports activities, including cross-country, basketball, volleyball, soccer, football, wrestling, and track and field. The school offers academic education in science, English, geography, technology education, language arts, grammar, and health and physical education. It has a parent-teacher organization that works to foster close relations between home and school and welcome parents to attend meetings and participate in its varied activities. Benny Benson Secondary School is a part of the Anchorage School District, which serves nearly 50,000 students.
