They've been very helpful every time I've shopped there. They carry a great selection of ski accessories such as wax, climbing skins, etc... I've also poked around some of their gear and there is typically a good selection of sizes and types. I'd definitely recommend a visit.

I had a Avalanche shovel that I bought in November for an upcoming avalanche course in Turnigan pass. I used the shovel 1 time while digging out a backpack and the handle snapped off because of a cheap attachment near the handle. This shovel failed during a practice rescue dig situation so I wouldn't trust in in a real one. No problem. I'll just take it back to AMH and exchange it for another one. They told me no. Because it was a used shovel they wouldn't take it back. I could send it to the shovel company to get fixed but I don't trust this particular type of shovel now to save a friends life with. I would have accepted a store credit and bought a better one from AMH. Instead they simply told me no, we won't stand behind our product that broke after 1 use and give me a credit. Sorry guys, my business is now going to REI instead. They do s better job with customer service.
