My experience was overwhelming I'm going to refer all my friends there. Keep in mind it's a family-owned business and they treat you accordingly

Provided by YP.comThis is by far the best Local Fish Store in Orange County. Their selections of Healthy Tropical, Saltwater Fish and Freshwater Plants is like no other. It's very clean with smiling service. Very friendly and helpful staff. The service and health of the animals at The Reef keeps me coming back time and time again. Please stop by, check them out and say hello to the owner, Mr. T.

Provided by YP.comThis store has a nice variety of tropical fish. With approximately 30 different acrylic tanks set up for freshwater. They also have a nice marine section with some live coral as well. The store also has a good selection of supplies and fish food.
The staff is always willing to help me when I visit. I recently purchased a 10 gallon setup with a stand that I am using for my quarantine tank. I purchased the aqarium, stand, heater, and gravel for all under $150. The aqarium was an Aqueon 10 Gallon kit which comes with the tank, hood with light, filter, food, water treatment, and instructions. This kit by itself was $49.99.
Although, on a few occasions I have purchased supplies at this store that I observed at places like Petsmart and Petco for about 10-15% less. For example, I bought a siphon for my 10 gallong QT tank for $10.99 and noticed that Petsmart had the same exact one for $8.99. Also, some of the chemical treatments are cheaper at the larger chain pet stores.
However, do to their large variety of active and healthy fish and the staff's willingness to help and answer questions, I don't really mind paying a little extra for time to time.
On the negative side, this store is in sort of a "dive" strip mall, is a little on the small side, a bit cramped, and has no answering machine. I called one day around 9 AM to find out the store hours and the phone rang about 20 times with no answer. I generally think it is poor form for a business to not at least have an answering machine with a message listing their general info. Come on guys, it would cost you less than $50 bucks to get a decent setup that will give you a much more professional quality. How about email too!
Overall though, worth a visit in my opinion.
