AREA Electronics Systems designs and manufactures a full line of rackmount servers and storage products. The company offers design and test cycles, quick turnaround on customer orders and flexible configuration options for original equipment manufacturer projects. Its product line includes iBox, AREA, network attached and gigabyte servers; PCI SCSI adapters, Ultra-320 SCSI and Fibre RAIDs; and ELO components. AREA Electronics Systems features Serial ATA rack server chassis, hot swap enclosures, RAID controller cards and storage subsystems. Serial ATA's point-to-point signaling supplies full bandwidth to each connected device, hot plug capability, smaller connectors, standardized connector placement and layout, simpler cabling and longer cable lengths. The company also distributes hardware for leading manufacturers, such as Intel, Maxtor, Western Digital, LSI Logic and 3ware.
