Founded in 1982, ProSensing Inc. is a systems engineering firm, specializing in custom-built radar and radiometer systems for a wide range of environmental remote sensing applications. Based in Amherst, Mass., the company manufactures a slew of products, including multibeam salinity mapping radiometer, 32-channel digital beamformer receiver, airborne salinity mapper, polarimetric scatterometer, prototype sensors and millimeter wave cloud and precipitation radars. In addition, it specializes in electromagnetic scattering and propagation, microwave systems, antenna design, radiometric techniques, radar oceanography, radar meteorology, high speed data acquisition and digital signal processing.
