Americus-Sumter County High School South is a coeducational institution that is located in Americus, Ga. It has academic partnerships with Citizens Bank, Harveys Supermarkets, Marty McDonald Agency, South Georgia Technical College, Georgia Southwestern State University, WISK/WDEC Radio and Kellette's Hair Styling. The school has an annual enrollment of more than 1,000 students in grades 9 through 12. Americus-Sumter County High School South is a part of Sumter County Schools, which offers educational services to over 5,000 students in nearly 10 elementary, middle and high schools. It operates a library media center that helps users acquire and strengthen skills in reading, collecting data, interpreting information and communicating ideas.
