We are very happy at MEDC, my little girls love learning and honestly, I have never seen them both pick up new tricks and skills so quickly. My girls love the owner and teacher and we have gotten to know some of the parents in the lobby. I sit in the lobby 3 nights a week and I have never witnessed the commotion these other obviously disgruntled people are speaking of. Some people are the source of the issue and breed and support agendas and supposed scandals. The owner and her family are vested in this business of teaching kids to dance. I have this to recommend, if you are looking for a great place for your child to dance, try out a class, you child will want to come back. Simple as that. And don't worry, from the sounds of it, the problem parents are no longer there so I think you will have a really great experience and you will be able to join me in the lobby while we watch on a tv, all the great things our kids are learning together!

Wow! I do not understand the last three posts obviously you have an ax to grind!! Why are you still there if you think it so bad. It is a wonderful studio growing very fast. My kids love it and they get excellent training. I think you need to leave the studio and stop causing trouble for them. Obviously you like to cause good people trouble. There are other studios that you can go to or have you done this everywhere you have been!! Bet you have.

I wish I could say it all wasn't true, we have been dancing there now for 2 seasons, while my daughters love it, it has become a negative environment, and it is being ruined by the person that owns and teaches because she lets it go on and on, and on! The lady that runs the zumba classes is totally bipolar and lets it all hang out in front of the adults and children. I do not agree with the tumbling on concrete, I see mats every time I am there (which is a lot) What I am most disgusted about is the favoritism, IT SHOWS!!!!! and it frustrates a lot of families who pay their hard earned cash to the company.

While it may be true about the gossip and backstabbing by the staff, it is also true that most kids love it there. With that said, backstabbing some of your most loyal workers and teenage kids talking and bullying younger kids is not only annoying, but disgusting and should be handled by the so called adults that manage the studio, it has gotten out of hand even for students that love it there.

Dancer/Dance parent BEWARE!! - your kid will dance/tumble on concrete causing long term joint injuries. The teachers also talk about parents and kids behind their back to other parents/students. They are very unorganized - don't send out schedules till 1 or 2 days before and then they don't stick to it and you are stuck waiting on your kid for an hour because they run over or add another dance. Your kid will also not be able to take anything into the studio because so many of the other kids take stuff, received 5 emails in a 2 week period of stuff 'missing'. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE head this advice - keep looking, there are other dance studios out there.

I highly suggest Midwest elite!! The staff is so kind and cares about every child!!! The dance instruction is wonderful. It is nice to walk into a studio and feel welcomed!
