Dean met me at the house and got started on the work the following week. My basement was damp and not a place you wanted to be. He installed a French drain, 2 sump pumps and painted and disinfected the walls. I couldn't believe how clean his operation is. No dust to speak of anywhere. I wanted to have a party to show off how nice the basement is now. I would definitely recommend Dry Basements By Dean to anyone as his work is second to none.

Dean came out a couple of years ago and did a french drain for us and while he was at it, he put a drain around the water heater. So when the water heater went yesterday and we discovered it this morning, NOTHING in our just finished basement got wet. I would highly recommend Dean. He does great work at a fair price and he is very honest. He saved us a lot of heartache and money.

I never met Dean and he helped me over the phone with a leaking wall that was just sealed by a radon specialist and the sealant was preventing the water from draining into the floating slab. Instead it deflected the water onto the floor. He explained what to do and if it doesn't correct the situation I will ask him to come out. He didn't try to make a buck instead he tried to save me several . I would definitely trust him without even yet meeting him. Not many people like this out there.

Dean did an amazing job waterproofing our basement in Ambler, PA. I highly recommend him to anyone dealing with water in the basement!

Don't know what that lady who wrote negative review is talking about. Deans rate was more than fair. We got a few estimates that were way out of line. Dean took care of our basement & many of the people who live on my street basements over 5 years ago. Every time it rains hard I ask them at the bus stop with our kids in tow...."Get any water?" They have one simple reply...."Nope". Isn't that all anybody should care about?

We found Dean and his crew to be thorough and professional.We have a 1000+ square foot basement with a connected crawlspace (under a laundry room).Dean was the 3rd contractor we had out for an estimate.He was the only one to recommend putting a water-proofing system in the crawlspace as well as the basement and was the first to recommend using a Jet Pump back-up versus a DC battery back-up.His prices were competitive with the other companies - even with the additional work and pumps. His crew showed up on the scheduled days and was always on time.While working in the crawlspace, they unexpectedly found a hole in an exterior wall, which they filled in and notified us about.They treated all of the concrete walls for mold spores and then sealed them.They cleaned up at the end of each day.Dean was always available for questions. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the quality of work he and his crew provided, and we will recommend his company to anyone looking for these services.

We had our crawl space waterproofed and are having Dean and his crew come back to do our lower level. The price was excellent, the work was beautifully done, not a drop of water even after heavy rains. I found them to be very professional and left the house immaculate!

To whoever wrote the last comment, I am a parent to a 15 year old son, not a little child, And second of all I have been waterproofing for 25 years and do not even finish basements, I only waterproof them. I also have many references to prove the quality of my work. Thank you -Dean Bender

I decided to confront my long procrastinated basement leakage issues after my basement had two feet of water on the floor after a heavy rainstorm..With my budget in mind I shopped around for estimates and ended up choosing dry basements by dean bender because of his competitive pricing, credible referrals and the sense of trust I felt for his knowledge of the system. The system was installed in timely fashion,they came when expected, and upon finishing they were noticeably conscious of the cleanliness in my household.(even washed my driveway!) The system is currently functioning and my basement is finally dry! I applaud dean's service and personally thanked at his home for resolving my problems with allergies!

Completely unprofessional. Not only did he come out with small child in tow (in my very non-child-proof home without previous notification), he barely listened to what my problem was and started suggesting strictly cosmetic changes that were not issues at all. I asked about stopping water from leaking into my basement and he started telling me how to finish the basement! Why would I possibly finish out a basement that is flooding without stopping the flooding first???? He also didn't use any sort of caculation to give me a price. He just randomly pulled a number from the air that wasn't even for the work I needed. Would never suggest actually using this guy. I didn't.
