At first this place seemed a nice place to get your scooter work done, I suggest that anyone dealing with this place gets everything in writing. I asked the guy to get my scooter to spark and nothing more, last time the bike ran it rode good down the streets of LA, CA. I placed a deposit of $150 which should go a long way on scooter GY6 engine parts. A week later I checked to see if they started working on it yet as there were others before me. It sounded like the mechanic almost had it done, had to replace the rings and piston, head cylinder that I bought on ebay was the wrong one so that part had to be replaced. I received one phone call from the mechanic saying the drive belt was the wrong one, another ebay purchase but the bike had never ran since I replaced that belt so it was still new like the cylinder head. I authorized a new belt and asked to keep the parts taken off so I could get a refund. The next day I returned to see how it was going and he was just about finished so I asked for a total amount to bring the next day to pick it up. I figured the deposit was used up and the mechanic said $474.74, I almost fainted thinking the $474 was the overall total. But no that was the amount owed yet, the grand total was $625. I took the bike in on the first week of Aug, it was the end of the second week when working on it. I told the mechanic I would have to wait until my next SSI check came Sept 1st, I didn't have that much money left to pay it that day. They charged me $47.74 storage. Then the invoice had a new belt but crossed it out and below was a charge of $79.49 for a torque converter I didn't authorize, then I started to wonder if the other parts needed replaced asking for the old parts and he couldn't find them. Then I noticed the license plate was missing, he didn't know where that was. long story short ends in disaster, I drive the bike home to N Amarillo, was running good as it always had in the past, after two days I was 5 miles away tooting around NE Amarillo when it sounded like air coming out of a tire and the bike died. Again no compression with only 24 miles since I got it back. I can't afford to take it back there again, I live on a small check from SSA $665 a month, I couldn't afford the first time and feel like I have been robbed. Get everything in writing.
