My 8 year old son attended summer camp at LYA 2 years ago, and He and I were so pleased with the love and instruction that he received there. When I found out I was pregnant last year, I knew there was no other place for my new baby. My 1 year old son has been at LYA since he was 5 weeks old. The teachers there are amazing. It brings me so much joy to see my son happy to go to day care every morning and be upset to leave every afternoon. Rodney and Maria have made LYA the perfect place for parents to bring their children. I know that when I drop my son off in the morning I do not have to worry about a thing. I would, and have recommended LYA to anyone looking for a loving, instructive, and safe environment to bring their children to.

AWESOME is was I think of Light Years Ahead!!! I am very satisfied with the care given to my children there! Mr. Rodney, Ms. Maria, Ms. Coco and the rest of the staff are so caring and approachable. If there were any questions or concerns that I may have had, there was always someone there that was willing and able to address the issue. When I read the negative comments made I began to wonder..." REALLY??" is what I say to anyone who has children who attended/attend Light Years Ahead and their children didn't receive the best care there is. As a parent that uses this daycare service for a minimum of nine(9) hours a day five (5) days a week, I am truly satisfied!!!! TWO THUMBS UP!!! THANK YOU LIGHT YEARS AHEAD FAMILY---WE LOVE YOU!!!

I LOVE this daycare!! My daughter started in the two year old class and I have to admit I was just as nervous as she was. She had the luxury of having someone babysit her since she was an infant and I was so scared to put her into daycare. I met with the owner, Rodney, who was extremely helpful and made me feel confident in putting her in this facility. Her first day of course she cried when I dropped her off in the morning, but when I called to check on her they told me she cried for only a couple minutes and was playing and participating like she had been there forever. When I went to pick her up that day she was talking a mile a minute and SO HAPPY! The very next afternoon when I picked her up to go home she actually cried that she didn't want to leave her friends. Her AMAZING teacher (Ms. Scarlett) does her hair all the time and my daughter tell everybody about "her Scarlett." She has been there for a few weeks now and I am almost wishing I would have done this a long time ago! She loves all of their activities and the socialness and the ENTIRE staff has been wonderful!! I would highly recommend this day care to anyone looking for care as if it was a family member. - Ondi
