Charles W. Eliot Middle School, located in Altadena, Calif., is affiliated with the Pasadena Unified School District. Founded in 1931, the school offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to more than 800 students in grades six through eight. Its core curriculum includes English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. Eliot Middle School also provides algebra, history, computer education, and gifted and talented education programs. It offers various sports activities, such as softball, flag football, basketball and soccer. The school's cocurricular programs include sign language club, math field day, odyssey of the mind, marching band, choir and ambassadors.
