General Info

Rob and Claudia Rowsell moved to Alpine in 2004, from Mesa, Az. They moved back to the East County to be closer to Rob's family, who has lived here for more than 40 years. Rob grew up in the East County, living in El Cajon and Lakeside as a child. He moved to Arizona in 1994, and that is where he and Claudia met. They wanted to move back to California sooner, but just did not know how to pull it off. Rob had been working as a Automotive Service Advisor for a very successful auto repair chain for many years, while Claudia was working for a doctor's office in the accounts payable/receivable department. Then, one day, they learned from Rob's father that there was an auto repair shop in Alpine for sale and the rest, as they say, is history! Alpine Auto Repair is truly a family business with Rob's son, Micah, working in the parts department, and his daughter, Stephanie, who is 13, helping check customers out after school. Rob and Claudia are Alpine residents and they are very active in the Alpine Community.
