YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta, is a nonprofit association that provides a variety of Christian programs and services. The association serves more than 16 million Americans, and operates in over 130 countries. It operates more than 20 branches in Georgia, including child care academies and early childhood development and family centers. YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta serves men, women and children of diverse social, religious, economic and ethnic backgrounds. The association provides various programs, such as preschool and Head Start, after school child care and enrichment, and day camps during the summer and school holidays. It also provides youth sports, resident camp, and health enhancement programs.
