Comcast sends out ancient beat up cable boxes that don't work right any more. For example they still use the Motorola DCT 2244 which is 15 years old. If you got stuck with one of those you would most likely need to come down to one of these service centers, wait, and get swapped out, hopefully not for another beat up 15 year old cable boxes. These centers are not all that close by, having to drive 20 miles round trip for some junk that Comcast sends out is no fun and time consuming.

Contacted Comcast several times and put on hold or passed to other people many times only to be told the router they provided is no longer supported. I have cable and internet. Access to the internet has been the issue. Now I am told I need to bring the router to the store. Customer should be advised when equipment they have obtained is no longer supported. Although I see no other reviews since 2008, this is my recent experience with Comcast.

Words cannot describe the disgustingly miserable service I have received in trying to have Comcast cable and Internet service established at the home of my 78 year old mother. If any other cable service were available in my mother's area I would never even consider continuing to pursue this installation. My mother has recently become essentially homebound and I was hoping cable service would brighten her days. I honestly cannot describe the horrendous experience I have had so far and after 5 weeks, installation is still not complete, wires are laying on her floors and her furniture is not back into position and there is no one with any authority at Comcast who cares. Of course, there is someone who 'will call me tomorrow' as there always is. And they never do. Now I am expecting this Non-call to come from 'somebody at corporate.' It doesn't really matter where the person who doesn't call you is located. If you have any other options at all, do not do this to yourself.

Can count on them

Makes it almost impossible to report outages. Have to hold almost as long as the outage last to report. Never able to give a time when outage is to be repaired. I'm looking into satellite tv it can't be any worse and from what I here it may cost less.

Good quality for the price

I have not had any problems with my service and everything has been great with the Comcast in my area!!! I have the bundle pack and I have Cable, Internet, and phone service. Their internet is the best and is a lot better than their compettitors. Comcast is super fast, you just wouldn't believe. Their is no way that I would ever trade out my internet. Everyone that comes over and uses my computer also agrees. The cable of course is excellent but I have never had to deal with customer service and so I haven't had an issue with that yet. The phone service is great and I have never had to call and complain about raising phone prices like with a competitor I was once with. My whole package is the same amt every month and has not went up. I have all 3 bundle services and rent 1 internet box and the total with taxes is about $113.00. Comcast is great!! I have had cable with them for 30 years, internet for only 1 year and phone service going on 6 months!!

Awful Customer Service - Will be switching all Comcast services because of bad treatment

The worse customer service I've ever received. Had a problem with high speed Internet access and got bounced around several times by them and was told that they still couldn't help me. The customer service reps and even the supervisor were rude and just said the same things over and over without answering my questions. I had Cable TV, Phone, and Internet service, I am so upset I'm looking for other companies to replace all services with Comcast. There certainly is enough competition out there that they can't afford the reputation of treating their customers so horribly.They should add catagories above that represent unsatified customers, the website makes up choose something good about the company before it will post.

Do not buy from this company.

Horrible, Horrible customer service! My cable has not worked properly since installation, the technician ran over my mailbox and they have yet fixed it. Told the technician to please call before arriving to my home, they did not. In fact they did not even bother to show for the appt. and I took time off of work! Buyer from this company.

Great product when it works.. However, HORRIBLE resolution process if it's not working properly.

I'm an existing cable and internet customer and wanted to upgrade to DVR service. First appt. the techs brought out the wrong box - no menu or guide functionality but we could "guess" our way through it. Missed the two subsequently scheduled appointments to correct the problem because their "system" accidentally cancelled the appointment - but did not notify me of either cancellation. The third appointment (now taking up 3 weekends of my time) they brought out a new box which (three days later) continues to turn on an off intermittently and the DVR service does not work at all. Up to this point, I've been a very happy Comcast customer - even recommended them to others. What I've come to learn is that their product is good as long as it is set up and working correctly from the beginning.

At thist time nothing!

My email accout has been down for 4 weeks. I have called 4 time and 3 trouble tickets have been opened. I just found out that the first two were cancelled because of lack of information. Yet I read the error message I was receiving. The last time I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told he had more important things to deal with that the new ticket should be sufficient. I was given a time of 24-74 hours before I could receive information back and was told to call back it might get fixed and I would not be informed.
