BEWARE OF THIS GROUP'S BILLING PRACTICES - ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE AN EXPECTANT MOTHER!!!!





You will receive forms advising you that it is your responsibility to contact the insurance company to determine the costs of lab tests IF they do certain tests. However, they WILL NOT tell you directly that they are doing the tests or give you a heads up - they just do them and file the claim with your insurance company! What's worse is even if they do tell you they are doing the tests, these people think it is ok to trick you by omitting vital information such as the costs of certain tests/procedures.



Scenario 1:

Doctor: I am going to do a few tests and you should have the results in two weeks.

Patient: Sure!



Scenario 2:

Doctor: I am going to do a genetic test to check for any abnormalities. Your insurance may or may not cover it and It can cost anywhere from$ 200-$3000 depending on your coverage.

Patient: Let me check with the insurance company and get back to you with a decision



Which doctor would you rather see??



You will have no idea that your insurance doesn't cover the test until you receive a huge bill. Specifically, if you have Aetna insurance, this terrible practice will cost you literally thousands of dollars in lab fees. As stated in previous reviews, you will be required to call their offices no less than 5-6 times before anyone actually calls you back to try and rectify the issue. Btw. if you have a lab test that was sent to Qwest, they absolutely do not have "cash fees". They bill the patient for the full, inflated costs of all labs. Period. This is medical billing fraud through omission of vital information.



You have been warned. Stay far away from this practice. Their shady uninformed consent and unethical billing practices caused a significant amount of undue stress for my family during my last few weeks of pregnancy. I would not take my dog to these people and as a result I no longer trust doctors at all.
