AXIS U.S. Insurance accesses specialty lines of business in the United States through a variety of channels. The principal lines of business written in this unit include catastrophe-exposed property, products liability, general liability, commercial umbrella, professional liability and other coverage tailored for unique exposures. The unit also writes risks that are difficult to place in the standard market, but must remain with an admitted insurance company for marketing and regulatory purposes.
