I had a great experience with Around the Town Professional Movers! They were very professional and took great care of my stuff. I was extremely stressed and my ATTPM crew which consisted of Tim, Jason and Shelton put me at ease. My move was from Gainesville Ga to Alpharetta, they kept the time in the 4 hour quote even though my furniture delivery delayed their progress. I will recommend them to everyone not only did they have the best prices and kept everything simple and to the point they even worked with me and patiently answered all of my questions regarding the move. None of my items were broken and they treated all of my possessions with care and respect. Everyone was super nice and willing to help unpack and organize. I will call them again in a heartbeat, great service, great value and wonderful customer service.

never use these ppl they stole money out of our accont useing our bank cards.to pay there bills.well the guys we used did.other then that they did good on the moving.

My move went perfect. Around the Town came highly referred to us through a relative. We have a bunch of nice things so it was important for me to do my homework on this company before hiring. My moving crew was extremely cohesive and relentless in getting the job done. I have used movers before but I was highly pleased with how well they took care of my belongings and the level of professionalism displayed by the office staff and movers. I have already recommended them to our neighbor and anyone else I know and plan to use them again if I ever decide to move again.

Proceed with caution! I had a horrible experience with this company! After three weeks - no resolution or call back! Background: the employees entered my home complaining about it being a "full house" move and that this should have been scheduled for the morning instead of 2pm (they didn't arrive until 4pm); complained about the owners' "greed," and that they were overbooked, repeatedly called owner to reschedule for Sunday, February 15th, and constantly stated they wanted to go home, were tired and hungry (all while the clock was ticking). After all was said and done - I was told off by one of the movers when I pointed out he damaged my walls and crown molding, stopped the job with a house full of boxes left to move; began cursing loudly in my yard, and threatened he would call the police because I told them I wanted to speak to the owner before paying (so I paid); now I am still waiting for the insurance claim paperwork to submit (for which I paid an additional $180).



The owners came out the following night about 9pm (after a family party) and assured me that they would make things right after inspecting and agreeing that it should not have taken 3 men 5.5 hours to move six rooms of sparse (but heavy) furniture and an exercise room. They returned the following day and took 1.5 hours to move the remaining boxes, but alas I guess I need to get help from Clark Howard or the insurance commissioner to get this resolved. Good luck!!!

I have had the best experiences with around the Town Professional Movers. They are also the best price around. They are punctual, courteous, professional and respectful of my belongings. They even went so far as to take off their shoes before coming into the house! The receptionist, Lavania is the nicest and most accomodating person. She promptly entered our information and scheduled us for an immediate pick-up. The movers even called to give an exact time of their arrival. They are wonderful and we'll use them for any size move we have.

I have moved 3 times in the past 5 years and this was by far the best experience yet!! My movers arrived cheerful and worked hard to get the job done. Best of all...none of my belongings or walls were damaged. I will definitely use this company again.
