It also maintains buildings and grounds, as well as implements small construction projects. The Public Works department offers infrastructure and water distribution system maintenance, traffic monitoring and plan reviewing services. It administers water line installation projects and maintains drainage easements. The department also oversees contracts for various services. The Public Works department also provides copper sampling services for the Department of Natural Resources.
