I am by far an IHOP chick, I've been to different ihops all over the US. I've been to this ihop on Lehigh street about 3 times and all 3 times the food has been nasty. I've wasted my money eating here and I will never go back. 3 chances, strike ur out....Sadly the next nearest ihop to me is in Reading, PA which is 30/40mins away but I'll gladly make the drive to get me some GOOD ihop food!!!
Service was so slow we waited over 45 minutes for our food after ordering. People were leaving because of how long it took. There were two tables that were seated after my husband and i both consisting of parties of two that were served and finished their meals before we were even given our food. Not to forget the food was cold. We ran out of coffee and that took 20 minutes to get. The "never-ending" pot filled our cups once and i was able to get a half cup for a refill. Rediculous! The bathrooms were terrible i would rather have gone out side in public. There was garbage on the floor. Our silverware was dirty as was the table. To say the least wouldn't recommend anyone eat here.
I have been to this location before with no problems. I went today and the place has gone downhill. My food was awful and the service was even worse. My server Kelly looked like she hadn't showered in days, smelled and ignored us. I would not recommend to go there unless they change to how they used to be.
We were looking forward to eating at this IHOP since we'd had such a good experience at the one in Florida by Disney. We were whole-heartedly disappointed. The service was abysmal, the food was of poor quality and not hot. When we asked for replacement for 2 of the dishes ordered, it took twice as long to get the replacements as it had to get the originals, and they were no better. One of us ordered soup, and it was without doubt the worst soup I'd ever encountered. I've encountered some dish water that was more appealing. The restaurant was very empty, and it's no wonder why. This location DEFINITTELY does not live up to what I believe to be the standard for IHOP restaurants. Whjat a shame, since we know what this restaurant chain is capable of.
