Don't count on small tool repair being worth it. Curio wanted $190 to repair the trigger switch and brushes on a Porter Cable 4x24 belt sander, and they charge $25 to return the tool unrepaired. A new one is $235. They probably get to keep a lot of tools by quoting repairs so high, repair them cheap, and sell them.
