I have been a patient of Dr Smith for over 10 years. He is not only a good doctor but a genuinely good person. He listens and cares about his patients and never rushes through your time. Everyone in his office is professional, courteous and nice. No one has ever been rude or failed to provide good service. Occasionally, you have to wait a little to go in for your appointment. But, usually the wait time is very short. All doctors will sometimes have an emergency or delay due to the nature of their practice. When I read the 2 negative reviews here when this pulled up, I was shocked. I have had to change insurance plans a few times. One of the deciding factors was keeping my son's pediatrician. My son has been an adult for years, but I will NOT pick a plan unless I can keep my doctor. Both Dr Smith and his staff provide excellent medical care. I never have problems refilling my prescriptions. I hope I never have to change doctors.

Very poor service. I needed a refill on a medication and my pharmacy contacted the Dr.'s office for confirmation. They rejected the refill because I haven't been in for a year. I was never notified that it was rejected by the pharmacy or Dr. and I wasn't told I needed to set up an appointment. I only found this information out two days later when I went to pick up my medication on a Friday evening. At that point I couldn't pick up my prescription and the Dr.'s office was closed. I tried calling the after hours number and it had a message saying to call the provider after hours. I then called the provider number and it had a message saying that Dr. Smith was the after hours Dr. this weekend and to call him at his number. The number it gave was his office number which then went directly back to the voice message saying to call the after hours provider, making it impossible to contact him or his assistants. I was then able to reach the pediatric nurse who was friendly and she apologized for the problem with the phone messages and confirmed it did the same thing for her. She contacted Dr. Smith and he said for me to contact the after hours Dr. She then contacted him again to explain the situation and that he was assigned as the after hours Dr., at which time he refused to respond. This is especially upsetting because I can get very ill if I don't take the medication daily, and he showed no concern or care about it. I have never been so dissatisfied with service from a medical professional and would highly recommend that anybody avoid visiting this practice.

Hi, please don't go to this practice. My family and I have been going to this practice for almost a year, but finally decided to change it for couple reasons.



First, they do not respect your time. The doctor is always late. Every time we took my son there, Dr. Smith always arrived 20 to 30 minutes late and always same excuse.



Secondly, I was told that the insurance would cover hundred percent of the test I took for myself. However after couple months I found out that I was stuck with an expensive



bill. When I refused to pay for it, they basically told me they would give me to collection agency and mess up my credit score. I have never seen any doctor office like this



before. Also, good luck if you try to talk to an office manager. When I asked for an office manager, they told me Dr. Smith was the office manager.



Please find yourself a better practice to go. Save yourself a headache.
