Probably one of the best Chinese take outs in the area. I've never eaten in, but maybe one day I'll check out what it's like inside. The food is flavorful and well balanced. They don't just slap a ton of soy sauce on their dishes and hope for the best. Never had a bad dish from this place.

My husband and I moved to Huntley five years ago. A friend of ours recommended the Gourmet House and we are so happy we took her advice. The food is delicious, the presentation excellent, and the service is the best. Having lived in the North Shore for many years, we ate at many Chinese restaurants. The Gourmet House is far the best. The owner makes each customer feel so special. Try it, you won't be disappointed!!!

I go here whenever I can, though my wife doesn't like Chinese food. The food tastes great, the service is fast and friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable! The outside of the restaurant still looks kind of like the ice cream place it used to be, but the interior atmosphere is very comfortable! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

The food is excellent! We have been customers for many years now, they know us by name and they know what we like. Our kids can't get enough of the place. When we drive by on days we are not planning on eating there they start a chant "Gourmet House, Gourmet House, Gourmet House" We have never had a bad meal or experience there! Wonderful people and wonderful food! There are weeks we have been there twice in a week!
