Bertha Godfrey Elementary is an early childhood care center and educational institution that offers academic services for students in preschool through grade one. It offers classes in music, art, science and physical education. The center conducts age-appropriate recreational, educational and social activities for students. It organizes farm safety classes, field trips, fitness sessions, homecoming parties, Mother s Day celebrations, and musical and dance performances for teachers , students and parents participation. Located in Algona, Iowa, Bertha Godfrey Elementary is a part of the Algona Community School District, which governs a high and middle school, as well as elementary schools.
