General Info
As the hometown of George Washington, Alexandria and its surrounding areas is no stranger to history. Washington, D.C., beautiful Mount Vernon, Arlington Cemetery and the National Masonic Temple are all just minutes away. But despite these famous landmarks and all of the legends that have traveled the waters of the Potomac River, Chart House Alexandria is still the sight to see. Hands down, Chart House is the best river view restaurant in the city. Whether dining outside on the patio or indoors, our seafood restaurant gives gorgeous panoramic views of the waterfront and the sparkling city. Before or after their visit, guests have easy access to famous Old Town sites such as Robert E. Lee's boyhood home, George Washington's Townhouse and Market Square, one of the oldest market places in the whole country. But that doesn't keep diners from spending their time at Chart House. Our Sunday brunch ranks among some of the best in Alexandria

my food was excellent and so was the service, i have know complaint and have intentions of visiting very soon
Well, for a chain restaurant this is one of the best restaurants in Old Town. The food has been proven to be consistently good. I highly recommend the Macadamia Crusted Salmon as an entree and the Crab, Mango and Avocado stack as the appetizer - which is made of real crab meat without filler. The Lava Cake is worth the 30 minutes required to make it and I would recommend ordering it when ordering your entree. The drinks are priced well and are well portioned. Add to this the view of the Potomac and you have a winner!
