Expect to pay for all the medical record copies & releases, to make all the phone calls because they aren't going to call you, if you have a police report attached to your case, get a copy and give to them because they aren't going to bother going after it. If you have any history of mental illness depression, anxiety etc. and you're case has to do with PTSD like mine did, don't expect to be defended in the least. The doctor who was supposed to help me and prove my case, wound up hurting me with a report that concentrated on my past history and not on the present facts at hand. I had to pay him $1,000 for his damning report. I was led to believe we had a strong case from the start, when the court day arrived after 7 months, it was advised that it would be better if we settle out of court because it might not go our way. We wound up settling for next to nothing and wound up paying $6,000 for a false impression of being represented.
