We were headed to another more highly rated Italian restaurant when passing through Alexandria. The other restaurant was closed. We looked across the road and saw Johnny Carino’s. Although listed as takeout, we could tell from the front of it that it was not just takeout. OMG did we have the BEST service, with smiles and various servers making sure we had everything we needed. So impressed with the service!!! The salad dressing was amazing and I loved my pasta!!! The dessert came out old so they brought us another one and I am so full, and happy. Thank you John for taking care of us! We loved it and will be back when we visit again!
I will say I enjoyed it, and they have these flavors of creme soda that is worth going just for them alone... The servers have always been friendly and helpful. The spicy seafood pasta is great... I would say judge for yourself...
I am not a big fan of this place, there's not much to choose from on the menu and the two things my husband and I tried were not very good. We may have tried the wrong things though. I know some people like it.
