Boarding: Walnut Grove Farm is an idyllic, historical boarding facility managed 24 hours/day by a British Horse Society certified instructor who has worked for and ridden under Olympic trainers. Two gorgeous barns house a total of 17 stalls. Ride indoors or out: 23 acres contain 4 pastures, 1/3 of a mile track for conditioning or a quiet cool down, a 60'x120' indoor, a bridle path past a pond and alongside a creek through the woods, 100'x200' outdoor ring, and close to several trails along the gas line. Board includes daily turnout, 3-5 hayings and 2-3 grainings a day, stalls and water buckets cleaned daily. Top notch training in the disciplines of eventing, dressage, and jumpers. Conveniently located in Alden, half an hour or less from Buffalo, East Aurora, and Batavia, and less than fifteen minutes from Clarence, Darien Lake, Amherst and others. Lessons available on your horse or one of our quality school or competition horses. Please see owner/trainer's website: www.bethwalkowicz.com Lessons: Walnut Grove Farm is a great place to learn to ride, to become an eventer, dressage rider, or jumper, or to improve upon your skills. Beth Walkowicz is the instructor and trainer for Walnut Grove Farm, which she owns and operates with her husband. The farm is the home of the East Aurora Pony Club (www.ponyclub.org), which Beth has the privilege or coaching and taking to rallies. Beth specializes in the sport of eventing (www.useventing.com), with a strong focus on dressage. She has been a working student for Phillip Dutton, Christopher Bartle, and Jane Bartle-Wilson. Lessons with Beth are a fulfilling experience, extremely educational, safe, and, most of all, fun. Students range in age from 4 to 75, and there is a wide range of experience and goals amongst Walnut Farm Grovers. Please see our website: www.bethwalkowicz.com Training: Beth Walkowicz is the instructor and trainer for Walnut Grove Farm, which she owns and operates with her husband. Beth specializes in the sport of eventing (www.useventing.com), with a strong focus on dressage. She has been a working student for Phillip Dutton, Christopher Bartle, and Jane Bartle-Wilson, and continues her education under the tutelage of Walter Zettl. So far, Beth has competed through the Intermediate level. Much of her training experience has been in taking off the track thoroughbreds and turning them into eventers or helping them settle into their new careers. Her latest success was in turning a Children's Jumper into an eventer who qualified for the American Eventing Championships in her first year and who consistently scores in the 60's at first level dressage. She enjoys training, and believes strongly in the German scales of training, and empathetic treatment of the horse with a clear understanding of their natural tendencies. Multiple ride rates are available (in other words, Training Board options). Please see our website: www.bethwalkowicz.com
