They are HORRIBLE AND LIARS. Last Tuesday we called and made an appointment for Friday (their choice). We dropped our vehicle at 9 am as we were told. By 2 pm when we had not heard anything, I called for a status and no one answered. I called again at 3 and left a voice mail. At 4 after no one returned my call, I called again only to be told that they hadn't looked at it because they had a "problem child". Vehicle was never looked at on Friday. 9:45 Saturday Bev called and gave diagnosis, got approval and confirmed it would be ready by 3. AGAIN, I called at 2 after not hearing anything and was told there was yet another vehicle on the lift and my vehicle would not be done by closing but would be done "first thing Monday ". Monday I called at 10 and Bev told me again, that they were working on someone's lights. I told her to put the key in the car and we would come and get it. My husband was there in 30 minutes and low and behold they were working on it on our vehicle. Took them one hour for the repair. Bev told my husband she was confused with another Escape (there was no Escape other than mine it was an Edge). As stated it took an hour so they could have still made the repair when I called on Saturday but apparently didnt feel like it. When I called Bev after my husband left on Monday, she still kept changing her story. She was confused, then our vehicle had been looked at on Friday, it was on the lift when we called... whatever twist she could put on it. If you value your time and expect to be treated with an ounce of respect and not lied to DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE. Apparently if something better comes in, or someone they know, you'll get booted to the back of the line EVEN if you have an appointment

They are great people they worked really hard to make sure my car was right I would recommend them to anyone they do an excellent job and they are very personable

I love this garage! Ive been using them for a long time and they have always went above and beyond to give me a great experience. always affordableand convenient with fast service. Will even drop off and pick up customers as needed which is a plus if your a single mom like me relying on one car. will definetly recommend!!!

This is Phillip B that wrote previous review!! I wrote that review b4 I went and talked with Fred, and if I would have known he was a stand up respectful man I would have gone back to discuss issues! Instead I just wrote the review! Fred called me on his on free will after reading my review and was shocked to hear I was upset!!! He knew nothing of my issues and was willing to take a look at any issue I had with the work that was done!! And then he paid for the battery that went missing at his shop!! Cash out of his pocket, now I was over this whole problem and he called me out of the blue..... Now in my personal opinion if a business owner hears of an issue at his business and calls a stranger just to give him back what his owed, that's A STAND UP INDIVIDUAL!!! So to wrap this all up, Fred is a hell of a HONEST man!! And now that I understand he has cleared out his old crew and replaced them with excellent GM certified ppl I will not hesitate to return to FREDS!!! Thank u greatly Fred! It's nice to know there are still a few honest ppl out there!!!

I had a horrible experience at this shop and would NEVER recommend this shop to anyone. I was told to go to this shop through my father. This shop is very unorganized and not on top of things. My distributor went out on my vehicle and he only put a new cap on my car instead on a new distributor. I had to get that fixed a few weeks later. I was due to go in to get my car fixed and so grateful a police officer reccommened elsewhere. He told me my car was safe to drive that day and i almost got in a wreck on alcoa hwy that day by a semi truck. Then he wouldn't help me get it towed to his shop. The reason my car stopped on alcoa was because i needed a distributor which as earlier in the post i said he just put on the distributor cap. He told me i needed wheel barrings, and i later found out my car doesnt even have wheel barrings but has struts instead. He was going to rip me off and not even do the proper work that needed done. He wanted me to do $1,000 dollars worth of work on a car that had almost 300,000 miles on it and not even worth that much money. I did find an awsome mechanic thanks to the police officer that helped me on the side of the road when i almost got in a wreck. Hope this helps!!

It was perhaps luck that I stumbled upon this YP review of this garage. I was new to the East TN area and was only here for two months before my car broke down. I had no family, no friends, and no one to turn to for help getting back and forth to work in Walland, TN (30 mins away from where I lived). However, after meeting Fred, he made sure that I had transportation that allowed me to keep my job while he worked on visiting my vehicle. Not only is he a good, honest mechanic, but he is also a great man who goes well above and beyond for his customers. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants reliable and good work done on their vehicles.

Fred has always been thorough in his diagnosis and work performance. He could diagnose over the phone at times.

Fred and his staff put their hearts into their work, and treat their clients with respect, like family.

As Fred's ex, I can say he is a much better mechanic than he was a husband.

This is the place to go if you want to be treated right. He is awesome been real good to me and my car lol...I would recommend anyone to take there vehicle to Fred he won't do you wrong and he stands behind all the work he does and guarantees it as well..

I fit the typical stereotype that most girls don't know What they are talking when it comes to cars, At Fred's they DID not take advantage of that. I came to him without a clue What was wrong with my car, Fred worked and worked to make sure he got to the core of the problem.. In no time, and he had it fixed plus things I had no idea were even wrong!! In my opinion, Freds shop is the only garage to go to in Blount County to go to if you want trustworthy work at a very reasonable price!

I bought this garage in October, 2013 and I have no record of doing any business with anyone by that name. If work was done at this shop and there is a problem I would encourage you to bring the paper work to me the owner, Fred Skettini and I will make it right and you will leave satisfied. Otherwise we can take the matter to the B.B.B (which I am a member) and let a Judicator decide and post his decision.

Ripped us off at every turn. Horrible service. Takes advantage. Tried to run up bill to well over double what we agreed on (and that was high enough!). Car still didn't run when I finally got it back! Was running better than this when I took in! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

and as per my experience he goes the extra mile to live up to that saying. He was very upfront about what was wrong with my vehicle and when he did find the problem he got the parts and fixed it promptly, oh and also charged me much less then the other guy! I will definitely be coming back if i have any car trouble in the future!
