Metal Mart began in 1985 with a single store near Austin, Texas as a "retail factory outlet" for metal building materials supplied by our parent company which began in the industry in 1963. Since our humble beginnings, we have grown to our current 35 locations in 6 states. Our growth has been driven by our customer's demand for the materials that we supply, and for that we are truly grateful. We take satisfaction in taking an active role in our customer's construction projects and enjoy watching their plans come to reality. Our stores are staffed with individuals that like you, our customer, enjoy and appreciate the value of using metal for their construction projects. We offer free material price quotes and are more than happy to provide you with the technical assistance you need to get the job done right. We stock a large variety of steel products for projects large or small. If there is an item we do not stock, we receive deliveries weekly for special order items. We have panel shears in all of our locations should you need your panels cut to a length other than a stock length

Stay away they don't want your business. Drove there to see Metal samples to choose from to replace roof. Terrible Customer Service, and Anthony did not have a clue on the products there.Walked in 2 guys setting behind counter, no one acknowledged me when I came in, they were looking at each other talking. So I walked up to the guy on the right "Anthony" then looked down at his newspaper he was reading. I said Hi. He then look up and said hello. I said I wanted to see samples of the Metal and colors for roof replacement. He handed me a sheet, I looked at it and asked him which metal pattern was good to replace over shingles, he said this one. I said I thought there were a couple others also. He said WELL YOU CAN USE ANY OF THE ONES SHOWN! I told him that's not true on your website I said the ones you could use over shingles and the ones you cant. He said well go look on the wall there are samples there. Expecting him to come over too, we went over to wall samples, my husband finally asked him do you think you can come over and help us, had to interrupt him from going back to reading his newspaper again. He came over and I was asking him questions on the sample, he acted like he was being put out. I finally asked him am I bothering you by asking you questions? He said no. Then why don't you want to help us, are you mad I pulled you away from reading your newspaper, he said no, well you don't want to help us and your attitude is really rude. My husband then asked him to see the Manager after his continuous rude behavior. He said I am one of the managers but I can have another one come and help you. He left another gentleman came out from the back, I asked him what this guys name was, he said Anthony, told him how rude he was and no longer interested in doing business, and will be going to Muellers to order our Metal. We went there and got the answers to what we needed and the customer service expected, and very knowlegeable. Not 2 clowns setting in front talking to each other and do not even acknowledge you when you come in (no other customer were there). You have to go up to him and speak first. Again could not get over the customer service there, worst I've seen for a business.
