As a professional artist and supporter of the arts I have witnessed superior exhibitions by a consistently strong stable of artists at the Matrix gallery. I am impressed with the refined curatorial skills of the director as she exemplifies showing a diverse range of visual styles and methods of creating while maintaining a coherent integrity in the gallery. Each time I visit there is always friendly and informed staff readily available, really cool music playing in the background, and artists present and engaged in the adjoining print studio. Whenever I am in Albuquerque I visit this gallery to take in the pulse of the new work created in New Mexico, as well as the inspirational vibration the gallery exudes.
